Eye of the Beholder: The Great Wave

2026 · Designed and manufactured in Toronto

The inaugural release in the Eye of the Beholder series — beauty rendered in precious metal.

The Great Wave opens the Eye of the Beholder series with a study in stillness through motion. Inspired by Hokusai’s Great Wave off Kanagawa, the design pulls one of the most recognizable images in art history into precious metal — the cresting wave frozen mid-curl, foam suspended in time, Mount Fuji distant beneath the storm.

The Eye of the Beholder series is dedicated to a single premise: that beauty and art are timeless, and that minted form is one of the most enduring vessels for both. Each release in the series will draw from the canon of works that have shaped how the world sees — interpreted not as reproduction, but as object.
