Every Toromint piece is built to be trusted on sight, on touch, and on opening.
Authenticity isn’t a sticker we add at the end. It’s designed into the piece, the packaging, and the process from the first sketch to the final seal.
Materials you can verify
Toromint works exclusively in 999 fine gold, silver, platinum, and copper, sourced from accredited suppliers committed to responsible extraction and refining standards. Purity and weight are confirmed in-house before any piece leaves our facility.
We don’t cut corners on metal. The weight in your hand is the weight on the spec sheet.
Documentation, built into the object
A paper certificate is a separate thing to keep track of. It can be lost, damaged, separated from the piece, faked, or quietly thrown away by a future owner who didn’t realize what it was. We’ve watched too many serious collections lose their provenance one folder at a time.
Toromint’s approach is to put the documentation on the piece itself.
For Standard Series Releases, every piece is engraved directly with the series name, title, release year, size, finish, and Toromint maker’s mark. The object is the certificate. There is no separate paper document to lose because there doesn’t need to be one.
For Chase / Blind Box Releases, the sealed chase box itself documents the full mintage breakdown, metal composition of each variant, odds, release year, MSRP, and maker’s mark. The box is the certificate, and the dual-layer anti-tamper sealing proves it has never been opened.
In both cases, the principle is the same: everything a collector needs to verify what they own is part of the thing they own. Streamlined. Permanent. Difficult to lose, difficult to fake, easy to pass on.
Anti-tamper sealing
Every chase box ships with two independent layers of tamper protection:
- A clear heat-sealed protective film wrapped around each individual box, applied at our facility and impossible to remove and re-apply without visible damage.
- A holographic security seal engineered to break under pressure or any attempt at removal. Once compromised, it cannot be restored or replaced.
Both seals working together mean a single tampering attempt would have to defeat two unrelated security mechanisms — one mechanical, one visual — without leaving any trace. It can’t be done.
This matters for two reasons:
- The collector knows the chase is genuine. A sealed box has never been opened. The thrill of the reveal is preserved exactly as intended.
- The retailer knows the inventory is genuine. Boxes that arrive sealed and leave sealed are boxes that have not been tampered with anywhere in the supply chain.
When you receive a sealed Toromint chase box, you are the first person to see what’s inside.
Quality control, in-house
Every Toromint piece is inspected at our facility before sealing. We verify weight, purity, finish, strike quality, and packaging integrity on each unit — not on samples, not by batch, but piece by piece. Anything that doesn’t meet specification doesn’t ship.
This is slower than batch verification. It’s also why we keep mintages small.
Listed on Whatnot’s Identified Product List
Toromint is listed on Whatnot’s Identified Product List for Professionally Sealed Surprise Products in the Collectible Coins & Bullion category. Whatnot only permits sealed reveal products on its platform from manufacturers on this list.
Our current listing is provisional, pending the completion of an independent third-party audit of our manufacturing processes — a standard step in Whatnot’s review pathway. Provisional listing reflects that Whatnot has reviewed the substantial portion of our submission already completed, including organizational structure, product documentation, and manufacturing procedures.
For dealers, this means Toromint chase boxes are currently eligible for sale on Whatnot — one of the largest live-selling platforms in the category. For collectors, it means Toromint’s operations are being held to standards reviewed by both Whatnot and an independent auditor.
Audit in progress
Our independent third-party audit is scheduled for completion in Q2 2026. Upon successful completion, Toromint will move from provisional to fully-listed status on Whatnot’s Identified Product List. We’ll update this page when that transition is complete.
We’re publishing this status openly because we believe transparency about where we are in the process is more valuable than ambiguity about where we claim to be.
Mintage integrity
The mintages published on each release page are the mintages we produce. We do not run “second editions,” “restrikes,” or surprise additional batches under the same release name. When a chase release is sold through, it’s done.
This is a promise to collectors and to the dealers who stake their reputations on selling our work.
