About

Minting, reimagined from Toronto.

Toromint was founded out of three things: a lifelong passion for collecting, a relentless pursuit of excellence in medal design, and a desire to treat minting as a genuine creative endeavour.

We exist to make the kinds of pieces we always wanted to find ourselves — objects where the craftsmanship, the concept, and the material all live up to each other.

A design-first philosophy

Most minted rounds follow the same template: circular, two-sided, struck from a die. Toromint starts from a different question — what could this object be if we removed those assumptions? Shurikens. Scythes. Tablets. Keys. Shields. Each release begins as a concept, not a coin, and the form follows the story.

That approach lets us push intricacy, hidden details, and unconventional geometry well beyond what the industry typically attempts. It’s slower. It’s harder. It’s the entire point.

Materials we believe in

We work exclusively in gold, silver, platinum, and copper of investment-grade purity, sourced from accredited suppliers committed to ethical extraction and refining standards. Every piece carries the weight — literally and figuratively — of the metal it’s struck in.

Built for the collector who notices

Toromint isn’t trying to be the biggest mint. We’re trying to make the pieces that end up at the centre of a serious collection — the ones that get pulled out first when someone asks to see a favourite. If that’s the kind of collector you are, you’re in the right place.
